Frequently asked questions
This page downloads WPS Office. Features vary by platform, version and plan.
When can an area chart be misleading?
Overlapping series can hide each other, and a truncated baseline can exaggerate magnitude. Use a simple line chart when the filled area adds little meaning.
What is included in the area chart starter?
An original editable XLSX example with month, active projects and task instructions. Project counts are illustrative. The example uses one series and a zero baseline.
Where do I edit the workbook?
Download the starter and open it in WPS Spreadsheets. Editing happens in the app; this page does not process or upload your workbook. Save an XLSX copy to keep working, or export a reviewed view as PDF.
What happens when I select the download button?
On Windows or macOS, WPS starts the app download. On Linux, copy the installation command or choose a manual package. On iPhone, iPad, Android or Chromebook, continue to the appropriate app store. This page does not upload, convert or edit your files.
